Deer may be the cause of more Missouri road accidents during the next few months.

Tuesday marked the official start of the deer hunting season... and while hunters gear up for the excitement, drivers need to gear down for animals on the road.

Missouri Insurance Information Service provides public information on insurance coverage.

Executive Director Calvin Call blames people for chasing deer out of the woods.
