Governor's spokesman Chris Sifford says the HMO bill prepared for the next legislative session has the governor's special attention.
After three months of hearings the governor's legislative committee has decided on changes to improve Missouri's managed health care system.
The joint committee plans to try to introduce the bill in January.
Sifford says the governor's office plans to take part in the managed care debates during the upcoming session.
