St. Louis Senator Calls for New School Board

If Senator Bill Clay has his way, the Superintendant of the St. Louis School Board would be out of a job. Caroline Noel has the story in Jefferson City.

The Senate is trying desperately to reach a settlement to end costly court-ordered payments for school desegregation. One part of the settlement calls for the elimination of the St. Louis School board. St. Louis Senator Bill Clay wrote the measure.
