Temple says Ashcroft goes against Missouri values platform

A top Missouri Democrat says John Ashcroft's silence about comments made by a Republican spokesman goes against his Missouri values platform. Michelle Wirth has more from Jefferson City.

Earlier this week Missouri GOP spokesman Daryl Duwe referred to State Auditor Claire McCaskill as a cheap hooker on his website.

As a result the democrats called for the removal of Duwe.

Roy Temple, head of the Missouri Democratic Party, says that while Ashcroft speaks for Missouri values he fails to act on behalf of them.
