The House Committee on Transportation passed the bill that would rename highway 64 in St. Louis today. The bill is now onto the House.

However, the bill's sponsor hasn't talked to the honoree about the idea, and neither have Ram officials.

Don Koller is chair of the transportation committee, and wrote the bill.

Warner has only been in the NFL for two years, but he may receive an honor bestowed on Hall of Famers, deceased sports heroes, and record setters.

The House Committee on Transportation passed a bill today to rename part of highway 64. An honor last given to Mark McGwire after he set a major league baseball record.

The bill's sponsor is Representative Don Koller.

Only one member of the committee voted against the bill... a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Representative Chuck Pryor didn't object to the bill because of his fan loyalty though.
