Governor's Mansion open for public viewing

Governor Holden and his family are opening up their house for all of Missouri to see.

This is part of the Governor's Mansion 130th Anniversary celebration.

Each year, the tour's have a special theme. Mary Pat Abele is excited about this year's theme.

Contents: Home for the Holidays, with a special emphasis on trains.

Abele says the house will be decorated with memorabilia from the turn of the century to the 1940s.

Choirs will be performing inside and outside of the mansion.

The expenses for this celebration are all paid for by donations through the Missouri Mansion Preservation Incorporation.

The house is open to the public on Friday from 7:30 until 9:00pm and Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
