Republican lawmakers fight to override veto on concealed weapons

Republican lawmakers consider legalizing concealed weapons a top priority. Here is Stephanie Hockridge with the story.

Eight states during the past year have legalized concealed weapons while Missouri legislators have debated the issue.

Republican Representative Larry Crawford who sponsors the bill refuses to delay this issue any longer.

But Representative Barbara Fraser, a St. Louis Democrat, says that emphasis should be placed on gun safety rather than the greater availability of guns.
