Senator says primary helps educate the public

With a low projected voter turnout in the Missouri presidential primary, one State Senator says the primary may be more about educating the public than choosing a candidate. Cliff Judy has more from the state Capitol.

The 2004 Missouri Presidential Primary is only the third primary the state has ever held.

State Senator Mary Bland says the process of voting may be more valuable to those participating than the results of the election.
