"The situtation today makes the case that ethanol is cost effective and that the E-10 requirement that I intend to push next session of the Missouri General Assembly is a good way to reduce our dependancy on foreign oil and just reduce our dependancy on oil."

The E-10 requirement would mean gasoline companies would have to add 10% ethanol to fuel. Governor Blunt said ethanol would be less harmful to the environment, reduce gas prices and benefit Missouri farmers. From the state capital, I'm Lacey Hanson.
