Harris to introduce legislation banning legislative fundraising during session

Amid concerns about a Republican and lobbyist "Breakfast Club," a top Democrat representative says he will introduce legislation to make charging for roundtable discussions between Senators and lobbyists impossible.

Republican Senators invited lobbyists to participate in breakfast roundtable discussions that cost 1000 dollars a plate.

The invitations have sparked a controversy over lobbyist influence in the Senate.

House Minority Leader Jeff Harris says he's working on legislation to address this type of fundraising.
