McCaskill says Talent out of touch with voters

As most of us know, Claire McCaskill seeks the senate seat currently occupied by Jim Talent. Dan Frumson has more on the campaign trail.

Claire McCaskill addressed the media from her office in a press conference concerning her duties as state auditor.

However there was a buzz swirling around her campaign for U.S. Senate.

McCaskill says there is a clear difference between this campaign and the one she lost for governor.

"Well the issues are different. Clearly people are frustrated with what's going on in Washington D.C. Missourians are smart. They know the big oil companies are being taken care of. They know the big pharmacuticals companies are getting taken care of, and they're not.

Missouri Republican Party Spokesman John Handcock says that when voters hear the record of what Talent has done, they will be supportive of the senator.
