There's no uniformity as to when counties in Missouri should report their unofficial ballot counts on election night . . . and the State Secretary's Office has no plan to quicken the time.
The State Secretary's spokeswoman Stacie Temple says counties can still turn in unofficial vote results anytime they choose on election night.

The State Secretary's Office is currently waiting for the counties to finish counting all the votes . . . which include provisional ballots.
Counties must submit their official vote results to the State Secretary's Office by next Tuesday.

The Missouri State Secretary's spokeswoman Stacie Temple says paper ballots may have slowed down vote counting.
