Republican Congressman Kenny Hulshof made his way to the Missouri State Capitol eight days after announcing his candidacy for Governor in Washington D.C.

With two major names already in the race for Governor, the Republican party is now split three ways. Other names include Lt. Governor Peter Kinder and State Treasurer Sarah Steelman.

Hulshof is confident in his campaign and welcomes support from all parties.

Even though Hulshof's team of supporters is not finalized, many Missouri Republican names have already thrown support his way.

Current and future state House Speaker elects Rod Jetton and Ron Richard eagerly endorsed the campaign efforts. Also on the list of supporters is Republican representative and fellow farmer Steve Hobbs, who shared in the energy of the press conference.
