MO National Guard Not Sending Extra Troops to Afghanistan

Wrap: There's already a team of Missouri National Guard soldiers in Afghanistan and there are no plans to send more.

That's according to the guard's Captain Tammy Spicer.

Description: "The Missouri National Guard stands ready to respond when needed and if we are called upon, we will respond quickly. But we have had no word of additional mobilizations at this time."

Spicer also said the guard has plans to replace a team of troops currently in Afghanistan but that's been in the works for several months.
