Kinder to reimburse state for hotel costs

Just one month after KMOX broke the story of Missouri's governor's flight costs, the state's second-in-command faces criticism over billing taxpayers for hotel costs.

Wrap: Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder tells reporters he'll pay the state back more than $35,000 for staying in St. Louis area hotels.

The stays date back to 2006.

St. Louis Democratic Representative Jamilah Nasheed says Kinder is right to pay back taxpayers.

Nasheed has pushed to strip money from Gov. Nixon's travel budget.
