Steve Tilley has assumed his role as the speaker of Missouri's House of Representatives. Jamal Andress has more from Jefferson City.
Wrap: Missouri's House of Representatives is starting out this legislative session with the largest majority in the history of the state.
And their leader for the year will be Representative Steve Tilley.

Tilley went on to speak about what things he is planning to accomplish this legislative session.
Some of them include the "Show Me Solutions Program", balancing the budget, and education reform.

During House Speaker Steve Tilley's Inauguration speech he addressed some of the faults of his own party. Jamal Andress has more from Jefferson City.
Wrap: Despite the overwhelming majority in Missouri's House of Representatives the newly sworn in House Speaker Steve Tilley promises that the minorities voice will be heard.
In his inaugural address he pointed out a change he plans on making in the House Rules which limits the minorities power.

Going along with this bi-partisan attitude Tilley has also named 3 Democrats as chairmen to House committees.
