Wrap: Cell phones and faxes are currently not on the state telemarketing no-call list.

That could soon soon change if one Senate bill gets passed.

Senator Will Kraus sponsors the bill.

He says this bill is something most poeple will support.

Actuality:  KRAUS2.WAV
Run Time:  00:07
Description: "You know, I have constituents and people talking to me all the time about how they're getting calls on their cell phones from advertisers and how it's getting disturbing."

The bill met no objection on the Senate floor today.

Kraus says he thinks it will make it through the Senate and House relatively quickly.

Wrap: The bill adding cell phones and faxes to the state's no call list faced no objection on the Senate floor.

Senator Will Kraus sponsors the bill.

He says he thinks this bill will be passed quickly because most legislators face this problem frequently.

Actuality:  KRAUS1.WAV
Run Time:  00:04
Description: "I believe it goes through the House relatively quickly because most people don't want to be harassed on their cell phones."

Kraus says his cell phone is used for emergencies, so getting these calls can be frustrating.
