Wrap: The Speaker of the Missouri House, Steve Tilley, R-Perryville, confirmed that he plans to induct the conservative talk show host into the Hall of Famous Missourians.

Senate President Pro Tem Rob Mayer echoed Tilley's comments, saying Limbaugh has made a name for himself and deserves to be recognized.

Description: I know he's done well for himself, he's played a big part in the political landscape all across the nation and had a pretty profound impact on our nation.

Limbaugh recently gained national attention after calling a law student a 'slut' for speaking in favor of the birth control mandate.

A Democrat from St. Louis, Jamilah Nasheed, condemned the decision to honor Limbaugh, calling it a "slap in the face" to women across the state.
