Wrap: House Minority Leader Gail McCann-Beatty called for theethics investigation, saying the post implied lynching.

Republican Representative Warren Love posted on Facebookthat he hoped the vandals of a Springfield, Missouri monument would be ‘hungfrom a tall tree with a long rope.’ He said the remark only called for fullprosecution.

The committee did not announce a date for the hearing.

After a Facebook comment by Democratic Senator MariaChappelle-Nadal called for President Donald Trump’s assassination, she wascensured by the Missouri Senate. That move only amounted to an officialreprimand.
