Wrap: Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson recommended an investigation into the home after a meeting in Kirkwood detailed stories of mistreatment. U.S. Senators Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill also called for an investigation in a joint statement to the governor.

Governor Greitens said the allegations are 'deeply disturbing' and that Veterans Affairs mistreatment is one of the reasons for his political career.

A July report of mistreatment led to investigations by the Missouri Veterans Commission, the Department of Public Safety and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. All found the home to be safe and compliant.
