A push to make child immunization more affordable has moved another step forward in the Missouri legislature. Kelly Just reports from the State Capital.
Senators have approved a House bill that would force health insurance agencies and H-M-O's to cover the cost of shots for kids under the age of five.
Kansas City Senator, Ed Quick says that besides improving Missouri's 49th place standing on immunization...the bill is also a cost-saving measure.
House Bill sponsor, Representative Scott Lakin (Lay-kin) says he doesn't think the House will have any major objections to three Senate amendments on the measure.
