Missouri truck drivers have won a major victory with a speed limit bill being debated in the House. More from Kelly Just at the State Capital.

Both Democrats and Republicans turned down a proposal placing a fifty-five mile an hour limit on all transport trucks.

Members argued that disrupting traffic flow with seperate speeds for trucks and passenger vehicles would pose a greater hazard.

Highway Patrol Superintendant, Colonel Fred Mills disagrees. He says with all speed limits going up, now is the time for caution.
