You may be able to wait two years to get your car inspected under a bill passed today/Tuesday in the Missouri Senate.
Arshiya Syed has the story from the state capitol.
St. Louis County Senator Wayne Goode's bill would save you that annual trip to the inspection station.
It also allows car owners to register their vehicles every two years.
Goode's bill also strengthens a law that requires drivers to have insurance before registering their car.
It still has to pass the House before becoming law.
