Lawsuits like the one in St. Louis against gun manufacturers has triggered new legislation. Stacy Covitz has the story from Jefferson City.
A proposed bill would prohibit Missouri government lawsuits dealing with gun design, marketing, manufacturing or sales.
Missouri Senator Peter Kinder filed the bill. He says it would still allow for some lawsuits, such as when the gun is faulty.
Kinder says he disagrees with some of the lawsuits the government files.
Kinder says he thinks the bill has enough support to pass. From the state capitol, I'm Stacy Covitz.
