Computer Crime Bill Gains Preliminary Approval in House

A computer crime bill has won first round approval in the Missouri House. Kyle Elfrink has the story from Jefferson City.

The bill covers an assortment of computer crimes, from privacy to pornography.

Part of the bill allows law enforcement to obtain warrants to find computer child pornography without first holding a hearing to determine if the matter is obscene.

Despite Bennett's worries, preliminary approval was given. Now, the bill faces one more House vote before moving on to the Senate.
