The House will vote on a bill narrowing the definition of workers' compensation.
Travis Thompson has more from the state Capitol.
The House Rules Committee voted to send a Senate workers' compensation reform bill to the House floor.
Senator John Loudon, the bill's author, says he plans to work with House members to make compromises on the bill.
"In the end we're going to have to balance not just the House and Senate positions, but also be sure this is a bill the Governor will be proud to sign."
Loudon's bill would alter the definition of who can receive workers' compensation.
The House may debate the bill as soon as Thursday.

After House revisions, the House Rules Committee voted to send a Senate workers' compensation reform bill to the House floor.
House Minority Whip Connie Johnson says she wanted the bill to be revised more before it was sent for debate.
"I think it should in fairness go back to committee because I think you may have some borderline constitutional issues."
Senator John Loudon sponsored the bill and says he plans to work with the House to reach compromises.
The House may debate the bill as early as Thursday.
