After a week of criticism from the Attorney General's office, Governor Matt Blunt says it's time to "stop playing politics" with Missouri's student loans.

In a closed meeting Blunt met with college and university presidents to discuss his latest version of the Lewis and Clark Discovery Initiative.

The proposal would include selling off assets of Missouri's Higher Education Loan Authority, who's purpose is to keep costs down to college students by underwriting loans.

Blunt said he's frustrated by delays.
