The bills would protect military families from financial hardship and custody rights.

Democratic Representative Paul LeVota filed a bill this week which asks for half a million dollars in tax credits for businesses to supplement income for employees who begin active duty.

Actuality:  LEVO2.WAV
Run Time: 00:12
Description: A few sessions ago, we gave a hundred million dollar tax credit to one developer in St. Louis. I think for the military families this is a very small ask.

The other three bills concern custody rights, state employee salaries and payday loan agencies.
