Democratic Representative Stephen Webber's bill would require the state to compensate its employees for the pay cut they receive when they are called to duty.
Webber and Representative Jason Kander currently serve in the military and used their combined experiences to create this legislation.

Democratic Representative Paul LeVota filed a bill this week which asks for half a million dollars in tax credits for businesses to supplement income for employees who begin active duty.
