Description: "You're talking about the mystery program versus the jobs programs." |
These "jobs programs" are what Kelly calls the House Budget Committee's decision to fund projects in their own districts.
Nixon spokesperson Scott Holste called them "pet projects."

Description: "It's all in the eye of the beholder. It's as easy to call the governor's big program a pet project as it is to call any of these a pet project, isn't it? At least these have some definition to them." |
The projects are just part of more than $2 billion in federal stimulus money the committee approved Monday.
