Carnahan Comments on Redistricting Plan

Intro	Missouri's redistricting plan may put St. Louis area Congressman Russ Carnahan's seat at risk. KMOX asked Carnahan to comment Thursday.

Wrap: Census results showed Missouri didn't grow as much as some other states.

Because of that, it's losing a seat in Congress.

Carnahan, a Democrat, says he respects the Constitutional process, even if it means he'll be out of the job.

Now it's up to the state legislature to redraw the lines and figure out who will be out of the job.

M-U political science professor, Pervill Squire, says the Republican majority in the legislature may redistrict will likely squeeze out a Democrat.
