Wrap: Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder has not announced his intentions to run for governor.

But fellow Republican, State Representative Kevin Elmer, called for Kinder's candidacy to end before it begins.

However, not everyone in the statehouse is on the same page...like Democratic St. Louis State Representative Jamilah Nasheed.

Description: "I just think that, that wasn't even newsworthy; matter of fact, I didn't even read any of the articles because I didn't find that to be of importance, in terms of what he's gonna bring to the table as the governor."

Nasheed worked closely with Kinder this past legislative session on education issues and says he'd be a good governor for education.
