The Pro Tem agreed ending debate.

Callaway County Republican Representative Jeanie Riddle originally sponsored the bill in the House.

Riddle was disappointed with the outcome.

Riddle and other supporters say this bill will bring jobs to Missouri.

Wrap: After nearly two hours of debate, Cape Girardeau Republican Sen. Jason Crowell raised a point of order saying nuclear power plant financing, as stipulated in the bill, is wrong...the Pro Tem agreed ending debate.

Crowell says the adjustments to the original bill, such as billing customers for the early site permit would be ruled unconstitutional even if it passed in the Senate.
