PSC approves Ameren's request for lower fuel adjustment charge

The Public Service Commission regulates utilities in the state and must approve all rate changes. The commission's chairman, Kevin Gunn, says the change will be pretty small.

The average customer will save around 21 cents a month on their utility bills.

But these lower rate aren't locked in. They can change up to three times in a single year.
