Wrap: Normally the Senate must wait one day to vote on the floor after a committee hearing, but the Senate suspended this rule to push forth legislation changing the candidate filing period.
Since Missouri lost one U.S. house district in the 2010 census, the Missouri Supreme Court is debating the newly drawn legislative districts.
The boundaries are still unknown for U.S. house districts, and the Missouri House and Senate districts.
Senator Jim Lembke says some will be in limbo over unknown districts.
