Missouri Students Association delivers 6,000 letters protesting higher education budget cuts to Missouri lawmakers.

Wrap: The student-led campaign to protest Governor Jay Nixon's higher education budget cuts has spread to other UM campuses.

The UMKC and Missouri S and T campuses picked up the "More for Less" campaign in response to the project started at Mizzou.

Zach Toombs, who created the campaign, says it exceeded his expectations.

Description: "We were able to get 17 hundred letters on our first day, so probably some of that broke that goal of one thousand that we had set. We set another goal of five thousand, by the fourth day we had met that as well."
 
The Missouri S and T campus gathered 250 letters to give to lawmakers.

The Missouri Students Association at the University of Missouri-Columbia created the "More for Less" campaign to protest Governor Jay Nixon's proposed budget cuts to higher education in Missouri.

The MSA director of student communications, Zach Toombs, says he was impressed with the response.
