Missouri May Follow Michigan's Lead

A Right to Work bill in Missouri has never made it all the way to the Governor's desk. But after Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana have moved to become a Right to Work state, Missouri may follow.

Wrap: As Michigan sends a contentious Right to Work bill to the governor's desk, the state looks to join Indiana and Wisconsin as recent states to transition to a Right to Work State.

Missouri has never had a Right to Work bill ever make it to the governor's desk, but with a heavy Republican majority that may change.

Dan Mehan, President of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce says the bill is needed to become competitive and Missouri may follow Michigan's lead.

Wrap: Protests erupted at the Michigan State Capitol over Right to Work in the state.

The Michigan legislature passed the bill allowing workers to not pay union dues.

But, Dan Mehan, President of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce says a bill like this passing in Missouri would not get rid of unions.
