Wrap: After the state was forced to return its old execution drug, the Department of Corrections is facing new criticism.

The Missouri A-C-L-U is suing the department on its decision to include the supplier of the state's execution drug as part of the execution team.

The execution team is made up of anyone who provides direct support to an execution like doctors and nurses.

State law prohibits individuals from naming any member of the execution team without consent of the department's director.

Missouri A-C-L-U Legal Director Tony Rother says the change is troublesome.

Actuality:  TROTH1.WAV
Run Time:  00:10
Description: "We have a right to know what our government is doing in our name to get these drugs and what practices it's engaging in and who it's dealing with."

The Department of Corrections and Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster could not be reached for comment.

Reporting from the state Capitol, I'm Matt Kalish.
