Wrap: The committee voted to pass a bill onto the floor which would require women seeking an abortion to watch an educational video.
This came after discussing two bills that would regulate abortion clinics.
Samuel Lee, a lobbyist for Campaign Life Missouri, testified in favor of a bill that would require annual inspections of abortion clinics.
Lee says since school busses and elevators require yearly inspections, so should abortion clinics.
Representative Stacey Newman of St. Louis County was not amused by his comment.

M'Evie Mead, director of statewide organizing for Planned Parenthood Advocates in Missouri, testified against the two bills.
One would put the organization at the bottom of the list for state funding.
The other would require yearly inspections of abortion clinics in the state.
