The refusal, except for storm questions, continues a trend since his inauguration of not taking press questions. Greitens has instead read statements to reporters.

Severe Weather Coordinator Steve Runnels of the National Weather Service also said the storm could last through Sunday morning in northern Missouri.

Governor Greitens said road crews worked through the night to prepare and would not answer questions about his inauguration’s thank yous to lobbyists and Uber.
