Description: This motion can work. It's the only chance we have left to see if this works to restore the care for seniors and folks with disability.

Opponents said the measure is an uncertain, short-term fix for a long-term problem.

The measure would take excess money from undisclosed government funds and put it toward those Medicaid costs.

Description: As I've said multiple times I think this bill is awful, I think it's unconstitutional, I think it unbalances our budget by 35 million dollars.

Supporters said the measure is necessary to assure seniors and disabled people that their care is not going away.

The House approved the measure with eighty-three votes yes and sixty-seven no. The governor must sign the bill for it to become law.
