* SS SB 617 Sponsor:Eigel, Bill Status: S 3rd Read (IN BUDGET) Description: Lower the income tax. Decouple the state income tax from the federal calculated income. Repeal deductions for federal taxes paid. Impose limits on tax credits. Legislative staff estimate the original bill could cut tax revenue by up to $383 million in the first full year of implementation. Staff estimate the perfected Senate billl would cut General Revenue by $127 million in the first full year. Failed to clear Senate Fiscal Oversight Committee for a final vote. Also would have Mo enter a multi-state agreement for taxtion internet and other non-Missouri sales to Missourians.
