Missouri aims to end Methanphetamine abuse.

The Missouri Police Chiefs Association is giving their full support to Governor Mel Carnahan's plan to crack down on methamphetamine abuse.

Methanphetamines... they're cheap, easy to manufacture and offer the user longer lasting effects.

The problem isn't just a rural issue either... just last week police busted a lab in St. Louis.

Missouri Police Chiefs Association Committee Chairman Robert Lowerey says passing stronger methanphetamine laws must be a top priority.
