PSC sets pre-hearing date for Southwestern Bell

Southwestern Bell wants to provide long distance service to Missourians. Some local carriers say it would give the Baby Bell a monopoly on telephone service. Zana Lo has the story from Jefferson City.

What could FCC approval of Southwestern Bell's application mean to Missourians? Trip England, a spokesperson from the Small Telephone Companies Group, tells us.
