Unseasonably warm weather is saving Missouri close to 100 thousand dollars in government facility heating bills. Farrah Fite has the story from Jefferson City.

The state facilities division estimates high temperatures are making huge cuts in the amount of money normally needed to heat government buildings during this time of year.

Assistant Director for Facilities Management Mark Allen says not having to use air-conditioning or heating saves taxpayers even more money.
