Private investigators and bail bonding agents in Missouri may be required to get licenses.

Representative Don Kissell has proposed a bill that would outline the qualifications and duties of agents and investigators.

He says Missouri has had problems because some agents aren't trained and don't follow specific procedures.

OutCue: local business licensing
Contents: (says anyone can wake up and decide to be an investigator and we don't have any licensing)

The House will vote on the bill again on Thursday. From the State Capitol, I'm Jessica Carter.
