Gun rights advocates gathered for their annual rally in Jefferson City. Darryl Franklin tells why some legislators are still not supporting the issue.
More than sixty people gathered in the Rotunda today to show their support of the second ammendment regarding gun rights.
Despite the support, Maida Coleman a Democratic Senator from St. Louis says she's still not swayed by the gathering.
"If someone decides to steal that car and unfortunately in the district that I represent car thefts are up, they're not only going to steal a car but they're going to have a gun".
The state legislature passed the conceal and carry measure last fall and now awaits judicial approval.
