Gas Theft Worries Highway Patrol

The price of gasoline has been at record highs but the State Highway Patrol says drivers may have to worry about losing more than money at the pump. David Schneider has more from Jefferson City.

The State Highway Patrol says they're worried gas theft from motor vehicles will become an increasing problem. Lt. Tim Hull says some people are taking preventative measures.

"The other day they were advertising locking gas caps for the newer type vehicles. It's just going to present a new whole set of circumstances and different crimes."
