Pakistani earthquake does not effect vacancies on the Missouri earthquake commission

Even in light of the Pakistani earthquake, vacancies on the state's earthquake commission have yet to be filled.

More than half a dozen positions remain open on the commission responsible for Missouri earthquake safety.

Governer Spokesperson Spence Jackson says the state has time to fill the vacancies.

The commission examines earthquake preparation then guides government response.
