The state of Missouri is helping private groups get reimbursed for money spent on hurricane relief.
Tim Walker has more from Jefferson City.
Private organizations like the Red Cross have until December 8th to submit their expenses to the state of Missouri.
The state will then ask FEMA for money to reimburse those organizations.
Spokeswoman for the State Emergency Management Agency, Susie Stonner says she is not sure how much private organizations spent on relief efforts.
Stonner says the state should receive the Federal reimbursement early next year.
