Most legislators declined to discuss the details of Bowman's case because they say it's too new or really none of their business.
House rules allow Bowman to continue in the House and to continue on the powerful Budget Committee while indicted on the federal charges.

Description: I think so. I think he'll just keep up his duties here because what happened is in his personal life and should not affect what he does up here.
Bowman was absent from the Capitol Tuesday and could not be reached for comment.
But Baker predicted the indictment wouldn't influence Bowman's work in Jefferson City.
Run Time: 00:04
Description: Knowing John Bowman he will try to keep these things seperate and he will focus on his work.
From the Capitol, I'm Sarah Wire.
